The event kitchen of the future – on the road with COOKIN'ROLL and CARLA

The story

Ruben has a vision. The creative carpenter and interior designer has developed COOKIN'ROLL, a mobile kitchen that creates a place for people to meet with its long, inviting table. Initially developed for a car trailer, the compact kitchen structure now also fits on a CARLA and brings people together in all kinds of places.
During a test ride with a CARLA in 2017, Ruben and his team immediately fell in love with the new possibilities offered by this bicycle trailer and started to experiment. However, bicycle mobility at that time did not yet seem ready for Ruben's innovative project. In the meantime, he has taken the plunge – away from the car and onto two wheels. It has been a sustainable step into the future that has paid off for the visionary entrepreneur. The rolling kitchen is in use up to three times a week, especially during the Christmas season. But it is also used frequently at other times – and the trend is rising!

The Setup

Customers can rent or buy the sophisticated, mobile kitchen setup based on an eCARLA or book an entire event as an all-inclusive package. A Bullitt X is used as a towing bicycle. Thanks to the electric support, the bicycle kitchen can also be used as a handcart There are no limits to where the next cooking event can take place: communal outdoor cooking evenings or networking events at exhibition centers. With the rolling kitchen, anything is possible.
