My CARLA is simply super practical. I can transport everything very flexibly with it, it's super comfortable to ride, it's not complicated or unnatural at all. It's just so much fun. And of course it's easier to get to your destination than with a car.
Svenja Therolf
It’s always a highlight when I’m at an event and someone realizes my food stand is on wheels. They’re amazed that I have a small, agile kitchen that lets me offer food in a way that’s both mobile and eco-friendly.
Mustafa Alem
When we set up our kitchen for the first time at CARLA, I realized that it works and that we can offer a new kind of modern, contemporary logistics. Away from the car and onto the bike.
Ruben
A CARLA can access locations that are difficult or unsuitable for large vehicles—such as narrow driveways, courtyards, event venues, or historic city districts. Of course, local permits must still be obtained.
Test your concept with a manageable investment and expand your equipment later to meet your actual needs.
No fuel and significantly lower vehicle-related operating costs than with a food truck.
Work surfaces, storage space, refrigeration, water, electricity, and cooking equipment can be incorporated into the design to suit the product line.
The CARLA stands out and becomes a real eye-catcher for your brand—even before sales begin!
The CARLA can be transported by bicycle or e-bike and can also be positioned by hand at the point of use. The towing vehicle remains available for use independently of the sales stand.
Right to where you’re working—no need to look for a parking spot, no heavy lifting, no detours. An honest comparison: a van, a traditional wheelbarrow, and the eCARLA maxi in everyday use.

With regular sales, the investment can pay for itself quickly. Our sample calculation shows how many sales days are needed—based on different daily sales volumes—until the purchase cost is recouped.*
* Sample calculation excludes personnel, booth, energy, financing, and other operating costs. The actual payback period depends on the selling price, cost of goods sold, and utilization rate.
A CARLA CARGO cargo trailer is surprisingly easy and intuitive to ride. Even with a heavy load, the riding experience is virtually the same as riding a regular bike. The CARLA follows your bike or e-bike nimbly and nimbly through the city without limiting your turning radius—it just takes a little longer to get around. Unlike many cargo bikes, there’s no learning curve: just hook it up and ride off. The three-wheeled chassis, low center of gravity, and overrun brake ensure a safe and comfortable ride—even with heavy loads.
Whether a cargo trailer or a cargo bike is the better choice depends on how you plan to use it. A cargo trailer for bicycles offers key advantages: It can be attached to various bicycles or e-bikes, often provides more cargo space and payload capacity, and can be easily stored when not in use. This keeps your bicycle flexible for everyday use, and you only use the trailer when you really need it.
The combination of a cargo bike and the CARLA is particularly powerful. It combines the high riding comfort of a cargo bike with the significantly larger transport capacity and high payload of a cargo trailer. This creates flexible transport solutions for urban logistics, trades, delivery services, and many other commercial applications.
Yes. The CARLA is ideal as the basis for a mobile sales stand. Thanks to its modular loading area, you can customize sales, catering, or information stands—from coffee stands and street food to market or promotional stands.
On our website, you’ll find numerous setups and real-world examples that demonstrate just how versatile the CARLA can be for mobile sales. This allows you to draw on proven solutions or design your sales stand entirely according to your needs.
Valid for all CARLAs (with and without motor)
No, you do not need a license in Germany. You can ride CARLA like a bicycle.
Your CARLA can be individually powder coated in your desired color. Please indicate your desired color in your order with the corresponding RAL code. The individual color selection costs you a small surcharge and takes about 2 weeks longer to deliver.
The effect of the colors in RAL codes may vary slightly. When ordering a CARLA in the color of your choice, an exchange due to color deviations is excluded. Outside of the EU we offer yellow and black trailers only!
A later retrofitting from CARLA to eCARLA is technically possible in specialized bicycle dealers after consultation with CARLA CARGO.
Normally we deliver within 4 weeks after placing the order. With cargo boxes and desired color, it may take longer (plus 2 weeks). The obligatory deposit is considered as placing of order. The date on the order confirmation counts as the start of the expected delivery date.
