Lasten-Zauber: From transport problem to transport company

The story

Stephan Kröske is the brains behind Lasten-Zauber, a sustainable bicycle transport service in Krefeld. It all began in December 2022 - not with a business plan, but with a very practical problem: four-metre-long wooden beams needed to be transported home from the DIY store without a car. With a self-built trailer solution for the basement, the realization dawned: bicycle transport works - and surprisingly well. And with CARLA - really efficiently.

What began as an idea to make his own transportation more environmentally friendly is now a professional service for small transports.

Stephan's motivation: to show that reliable transportation also works without a car - personally, efficiently and sustainably.

The challenge

Whether furniture, wood or larger purchases - many transports are automatically considered a task for the car.
The result is high costs, unnecessary emissions and often complex organization.

However, the biggest challenge is usually not the weight of the loads, but people's imagination. Many people can hardly imagine that heavy, bulky objects can be reliably transported on a bicycle.

At the same time, another problem became apparent to Stephan: many people are urgently looking for affordable transportation solutions - especially older people or households without their own car.

The solution

Stephan was looking for a bicycle trailer that could do more for his craft workshop. When he came across CARLA CARGO, it was immediately clear to him:
