Ralf's mobile bicycle repair shop: Where there's tinkering, there's rolling.

The story

For five years, Ralf worked as a bike courier in Salzburg – through sun, rain, and snow. During that time, he got to know every corner of the city, countless people, and above all: the big and small challenges of everyday cycling.
But after a while, delivering packages wasn’t enough. Ralf wanted to build something of his own – something meaningful, enjoyable, and that keeps people moving on two wheels.

The idea:a mobile bike workshop that comes directly to customers.
Sustainable, flexible, and independent – just like him.
Only one question remained: How do you fit an entire workshop onto two wheels?

The answer came in Graz. During a visit to the sister company Veloblitz, Ralf saw a CARLA in action for the first time – solid, smartly designed, and made for real work.
That was the moment he knew: This is my way forward.

Today, Ralf rides through Salzburg with the city’s very first eCARLA.
He repairs bikes right where they break down, helps people get back on the road, and brings movement wherever it’s needed.
“The best part was actually the building process,” Ralf says.
“What started as an idea slowly turned into a rolling toolbox that fits me perfectly.”

The Setup

Ralf’s CARLA is a fully equipped mobile workshop on three wheels.
Weighing around 120 kilograms, it’s packed with tools, spare parts, oil, tubes, and everything else needed to repair bikes on the go.
