A stage on wheels – culture for everyone

The story

The Kulturkarawane Trier brings culture to the places where people come together – to public squares, neighborhoods, and right into the heart of public life.
Their goal: to make culture accessible to everyone.

With music as a shared language, they create spaces for encounter and exchange – colorful, diverse, and open to everyone. In addition to organizing events, they also advise municipalities and companies on regional cultural work and develop pop-up solutions for mobile cultural and meeting spaces in public areas.

A central element of their work is their mobile “Stage Maja” – a sustainable pop-up stage on a CARLA cargo trailer that travels to event locations by bicycle.

The first major tour started in the summer of 2025:
As part of the open.mosel project, they organized a concert journey along the Moselle – 8 concerts at 8 locations in 8 days, from Koblenz to Schengen.

And this is just the beginning: in 2026, the network of mobile pop-up concerts is set to grow even further.

The Setup

While searching for a transportation solution for their mobile stage, Kulturkarawane came across CARLA CARGO - and it was love at first sight.
The trailer had to be large enough to transport an entire stage, but at the same time remain sustainable and flexible.
Today, they use their CARLA to transport the stage from place to place with zero power consumption and zero emissions. The trailer is pulled by an eBullitt, which fits perfectly with the mobile cultural caravan.
