The story
We have always known that whole colonies can be moved with CARLA! Peter from Prater Honig proves very impressively that this really rolls on CARLA. Initially equipped with a children's bicycle trailer, he quickly realized that CARLA is the perfect solution for his beekeeping business, especially because he doesn't want to use a car for his organic honey. With CARLA, he can use it optimally for all the work involved in beekeeping, for example for transporting the honey extractor, winter feeding with sugar water, transporting beehives, use for visits and even as a mobile information desk/sales stand. The best thing about it all is of course that the CARLA can be maneuvered directly to the apiary (very quietly), which makes it easier to access partially exposed apiaries. The crowning glory is, of course, when the CARLA is ultimately used to produce offshoots (dividing up bee colonies) and the living new colony is transported on the CARLA. Peter proves very impressively that the CARLA works particularly well in the city of Vienna, as the majority of his colonies are distributed in the center of Vienna.
